Falling from Grace represents the scattered moments throughout Grace and Rocky's duration together on the Hail Mary returning to Rocky's planet, Erid. Grace, at this point in time and despite very cautious rationing, had finally run out of the food that was packed far before the launch. As a result, Grace must now resort to eating the very solution Rocky and him have found to their astrophage problem, taumoeda. The question that both of them ask now is if taumoeda is reliable in providing Grace with the proper nutrients and proteins to avoid starvation? Or does Grace slowly begin to succumb to the early stages of malnourishment through newer, unexpected behaviors.
