Clean reputation, perfect technique, the kind of skater people already talk about like he's untouchable. Like he's already won things Lumen can't even picture.

But Lumen hears other things too.

Rumours that Salix doesn't stay long. That he burns through students. That he fixes what he can't stand and leaves everything else worse than before.
