Synopsis -
Aoife Kane has built her life on certainty.
As a forensic intelligence analyst in London, she specialises in patterns, behaviour and truth. In her world, everything leaves a trace. Every action can be explained if you look closely enough.
It's the same belief she's always held about her past.
Her parent was a decorated intelligence officer, killed in the line of duty. A quiet legacy. A closed chapter. A story that never needed questioning.
Until a routine analysis reveals a classified file that shouldn't exist.
An operation with no official record.
A date that doesn't align.
And buried deep within the system... her own name.
At first, it feels like a mistake.
Then the system begins to push back.
Access is restricted. Records are altered. And someone, somewhere, is watching her every move.
As Aoife digs deeper, the truth begins to fracture. The hero she grew up believing in may have been involved in operations that were never meant to be seen. Actions that crossed lines. Decisions that cost lives.
But the deeper she goes, the more complicated it becomes.
Because the evidence doesn't point to simple betrayal.
It points to something hidden. Something managed. Something powerful enough to reshape the truth itself.
Now Aoife must decide how far she's willing to go to uncover what really happened... and whether the truth is something she can live with once she finds it.
Because some legacies aren't inherited.
They're constructed.
And some lies were never meant to be uncovered.
