But she knows things are beginning to change. And people are taking notice. Iris is fully aware that she will soon have outgrown her time at the orphanage, and she is more fearful than ever about what her powers could do in the outside world. Disaster seems inevitable...

That is until her elusive Aunt Alice offers to adopt her. After spending time at the Hawkewood Manor, Iris begins to realize that her powers may have been more important than she thought. But danger is lurking around the corner just like it has been her entire life. Stakes are high, all bets are off. And now, danger is here.
