This is a retelling of Judges 4 in the Bible. Deborah is a prophetess and judge who leads Israel to victory over the Canaanite king, Jabin.
In this story it follows Sunniva Hart, who was declared a genius. She has to wait to see if she will be accepted as a judge. It shows what she does before, during, after she gets the news of whether or not she accepted or not. If she is accepted she will become the first women judge in Georgia.
So check this out. It's a short read, only five chapters, and check out other stories I've read. I'm also working on a series called "The lost sheep." The first book in that series is called "Crossing the Threshold" and other stories for that series are coming out soon.
