In a world taken over by werewolves, humans struggle to thrive among all the supernatural creatures. After world war IV, werewolves and vampires come out from hiding and live among the rest of society. Changes have been made in social standards, as humans are seen as the weaker species, and do not compete with the superiors.Though they do not say, the only reason humans would be kept around is because of the chance that they could be a "mate".
Due to the royal family, all creatures live as peacefully as they can. Under the instruction of the king and queen, rules have been set in place to display dominance and appeasement. Werewolves, Alpha John and Luna Jana have been king and queen for about a century and are happy to be stepping down to their son, Damon Striker.However, without a Luna by his side, the country may perish and the government could fall.
Annabelle Stray, a petite and brittle human, has been living in the middle class her whole life. Enough food to satisfy her stomach, and caring family and friends by her side is all she needs. Having her brothers and best friend, Connor, to keep her company is the best life she could imagine. All her life, she has been taught to keep her distance from any of the superior creatures. What happens when she is forced to do the exact opposite?

We Are Werewolves
So the usual werewolf story consists of an alpha finding his mate, before they both end up facing some type of tragedy. And then, they have their perfect happily ever after. In the meantime while the Alpha finds his usual innocent but breathtaking mate, it is as if the rest of the pack's lives have been put on hold. I mean as long as the alpha and Luna are living in satisfaction who gives a crap about the people who helped contribute to make sure they're happy. What about the Beta who usually has to drop whatever he has going on to assist the Alpha to protect his mate? What about the members of the pack who are ranked lowest, because of what? Genes? Everyone is designed to have their mate by the moon goddess? No! By God! But when it comes to the Alpha's mate no one else's mate matters. I guess what I'm trying to say is since when did we start playing follow the leader we're not just wolves we are so much more than that we are werewolves. Twisted Turmoil
Centuries ago, the supernatural decided to come out of hiding. It sparked a war, all sides suffering until a treaty was formed. All species signed it. While most of the world chose to intermingle and live in coexistence, two countries remained the outliers. North America split into territories. The werewolves took most of the mid- western side, save for the coast that had been more city dominated. The vampires claimed the coastal sides that were city dominated. A few decades after the treaty, the boundary lines blurred but still existed. Witches and humans intermixed; some preferred the solitude the forests provided while others liked the constant movement of the cities. No one was restricted to specific sides. There were stories of others, the fae and merfolk. They had long since died out during the war. Humans now threatened to follow in their footsteps.
