In a world taken over by werewolves, humans struggle to thrive among all the supernatural creatures. After world war IV, werewolves and vampires come out from hiding and live among the rest of society. Changes have been made in social standards, as humans are seen as the weaker species, and do not compete with the superiors.Though they do not say, the only reason humans would be kept around is because of the chance that they could be a "mate".
Due to the royal family, all creatures live as peacefully as they can. Under the instruction of the king and queen, rules have been set in place to display dominance and appeasement. Werewolves, Alpha John and Luna Jana have been king and queen for about a century and are happy to be stepping down to their son, Damon Striker.However, without a Luna by his side, the country may perish and the government could fall.
Annabelle Stray, a petite and brittle human, has been living in the middle class her whole life. Enough food to satisfy her stomach, and caring family and friends by her side is all she needs. Having her brothers and best friend, Connor, to keep her company is the best life she could imagine. All her life, she has been taught to keep her distance from any of the superior creatures. What happens when she is forced to do the exact opposite?

A murderous pack trespassed onto their land and took one after another down, soon enough, Harmony was surrounded by blood of her friends, lifeless bodies surrounded her. She was kept alive but not for pleasant reasons as the alpha of the murderous pack, Alpha Dominic decided to keep her as a punching bag for his anger. She becomes malnourished, weak and mute. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest. What we knew in our world doesn't apply to this new world that we have now entered. There are four super natural species, demons now have come into the picture, and they can possess other super naturals; something no one ever knew of. And now it's up to Grayson and Fire, the new and appointed King and Queen to protect the world of vampires, wolves and witches; along, of course, with a set of twins, Prince Rayne and Princess Rosemina, heirs to the throne. But what was a simple prophecy to protect their new world, is slowly showcasing there is so much more that wasn't known; after all, for every one side of a coin, there is another. A few decades after the treaty, the boundary lines blurred but still existed.
