Amber Shimizu was only six when blood first stained her too small hands, when two bodies slowly became ash and got carried away by the wind, when her sisters tears didn't stop no matter how hard she tried to calm her.

Amber Shimizu was only seven when she saved her sister from the cruel monsters that were called demons or humans depending on how you looked at it.

Amber Shimizu was only nine when she got her first job, slaying demons at night and trying her best to be a good big sister in the day, getting food while they wandered, never staying too long so they can't get attached again.

Amber Shimizu was too young when she became qualified to be a Hashira, too young to know that she was indeed not innocent anymore and instead a child that was forced to grow up.
