Katherine Pierce's first kiss had been stolen by the young, arrogant, cocky, freshman Ashton Wells. She despised him because of that and never let on that secretly, even though it was her first, it was the best kiss she had had since.
Her first real boyfriend, first love, first date for prom, first time ever going to a boy's house and so much more were still hers to keep though. And she planned on it, but maybe it was time to make some "firsts" into seconds.
Ashton Wells was a billionaire's son, player, and the high school bad boy, along with his adopted brother, Caleb. He had come from an abused and rejected past, but he covered it well with his hordes of girls and guarded blue eyes.
Now, as seniors, the two former enemies were forced to be partners. Katherine had refused to see Ashton after his "incident", so she didn't known how much he had changed. She accepted the inevitable, and that was her first mistake.
