Kaia spent most of her life pretending she was okay. Growing up with a mother battling schizophrenia forced her to mature too early, teaching her how to smile through exhaustion, hide pain behind humor, and carry burdens she was never supposed to handle alone. She's bright, bubbly, and easy to love. But behind that version of her is a child who lost pieces of herself while trying to survive her own home.

Everything starts to change when she meets someone who feels strangely familiar. A man who looks at her like he's known her long before this lifetime. The more their paths cross, the more Kaia feels drawn to him, unaware that he was already once part of her childhood, a person her trauma made her forget.

As the memories she tried so hard to leave behind slowly come back, Kaia is forced to face the painful past she spent years running from. And somewhere between healing old wounds, carrying silent grief, and finding the pieces of herself she once lost, she begins to realize that love doesn't always demand forever all at once. Sometimes, all it needs is just a little chance.
