Roka Tamriel is a teenage girl who discovers she is half human and half demon about two weeks after a new guy with strange purple eyes moves to town. She has a rebellious spirit and occasionally gets in trouble. Brass Merigan is an angel who is sent to protect Roka. The Council has decided that Roka is a threat to the human world and, if left alone, will reveal the existence of the Other World to the humans. Brass is the youngest member on the council, a New Eye as he is called because of the Councils' purple eyes. He has two weeks to teach her to blend in with the human world. Can he do it?
