"i swear im telling the truth" i sniffle trying to calm myself down before i have a full blown panic attack in the sixth year common room. "your sure it was him?" the girl with dark blonde hair asks, though she doesn't sound like she thinks im lying, she sounds like she just doesn't want it to be true. "yes i'm sure" i say more firmly, finding the strength i need to clarify my earlier words. "it was mark allen." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aisling Healy has always had it rough. The man who she can't even bear to think about left one too many scars on her body and in her mind. a once young girl filled with sunshine and smiles became a girl who is just too broken to even keep a conversation going with someone. but when a particular boy becomes interested in her and in her life out of nowhere she suddenly has nobody to turn to but him. Tadgh lynch has always had it rough. the man he had the misfortune to call his father is now gone along with his mother and he can't seem to get past it. but with everyone around him trying to make a fuss about how he's feeling, he has no choice but to plaster on a face that says he is totally fine and take each day as it comes. but when he finds himself feeling concerned for the once bubbly girl he knew as a kid, he has no choice but to face all kinds of trauma head on.

Tadhg lynch doesn't do feelings. He does trouble. Charm. And saying exactly the wrong thing at the right time. Sixteen, mouthy, and impossible to handle, Tadhg is the kind of boy teachers warn you about- and girls don't listen. Then there's Bethany Gibson. She talks too much. Laughs too loud. Acts like nothing in her life has ever gone wrong. He doesn't believe it. And for some reason, he can't leave her alone. What starts as messing with her turns into something else- something a lot harder to ignore. Because Bethany's hiding something. And Tadhg's starting to look a little too closely.
