And as much as he hated Dr. Robby for forcing him to stop his residency for a year. Now, ten months later, he comes back into the ER.
Only everything changed.
Not only does he have to start his last year as a resident again, but the place was different. People who knew about his secret treat him differently, and after a long shift, he couldn't even return to his wife. Because Abby had divorced him after finding out he's an addict. No mercy.
His new town apartment wasn't the house and garden he was used to. His work wasn't the same, and people judged him. Even those who act like they don't care.
