Shiera enters Paradis as a Marleyan operative.
Her objective is Levi Ackerman.
She is deployed to observe, report, and return without deviation. Without consequence. Without allowing contact to become anything that cannot be contained.
But containment is a condition war rarely sustains.
Nothing about him aligns with the intelligence she was given. Nothing about her response remains within the boundaries she is trained to maintain.
There are parts of her history that were never meant to follow her into the field-yet they do, quietly, in the spaces between decisions, in the hesitation before action, in the instinct to look away from what feels too familiar.
Levi Ackerman is not a target that behaves like a target.
And Shiera is not as separated from consequence as she was told to be.
What begins as surveillance does not change all at once.
It erodes.
Slowly. Indistinguishably.
Until observation becomes recognition.
