Under the Blazer

Under the Blazer follows Allison "Ally" Thompson, a 16-year-old student at Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School, as she navigates the pressures of school life, friendships, and a long-term relationship with her boyfriend Andrew Whelan.

At first, Ally's life seems normal-she has a close-knit group of best friends, a loving but busy family, and a stable relationship that has lasted three years. Her days are filled with school uniforms, crowded hallways, laughter at lunch tables, and the usual teenage drama that comes with Year 10 and Year 11 life. But beneath the surface, small cracks begin to form in what looks like a perfect routine.

Season 1 focuses on the everyday world that surrounds Ally: her strong friendship group, Andrew's supportive but football-focused life, and the subtle tensions at school caused by the bully group led by Riker Lynch and Trixie Vandal. While most episodes center on friendship, loyalty, and growing up, there are early hints that life will soon become more complicated for Ally than anyone expects.

Throughout the season, Ally learns who she can trust, how to stand up for herself, and what it means to rely on the people around her. Her relationship with Andrew is shown as loving and steady, while her friendships with Maya, Jenny, Bethany, Lena, and Amy highlight different kinds of support, humour, and honesty.
