The sudden change in environment allowed Marina to introduce herself to different hobbies, one of which were ice skating. Perhaps it is not really a hobby, since it took up most of Marina's time - but she still took a liking to it. However, just as always, all good things must come to an end - or a pause. A harsh accident involving the blade of her skate and her exposed ankle caused Marina to end up with a broken ankle. Although her mother advised against it, Marina pushed to get rehabilitation in a facility in London, wanting her ankle to heal quicker.
