Zeke Banks is buried with the corruption he attempted to expose after being imprisoned for crimes he did not commit, making him the system's ultimate scapegoat. The world thinks the Spiral ended with William Schenk since his father, Marcus Banks, was killed and he disappeared. However, a red symbol starts to resurface inside the prison walls-quiet, purposeful, and observing.

Zeke discovers that the game was never about traps as relics of Jigsaw's mindset come to mind. It has to do with legacy. And from the shadows, someone is trying him to see if he would break or embrace the Spiral.
