L Galene- The man burdened with leading the Greater North American Mafia. He regulates each mafia across the North American Continent which ranks below him. Which is all of them. He was the embodiment of authority. His presence made rooms silence. He was more a symbol than human. A force to be reconned with. The title of "The American Shadow" is one he cant escape. His rule is absolute. L wasn't supposed to have this destiny. IT had been thrust upon him in a turn of events. He was too soft for this, even with the ruthless front. We wasn't right for this world.

Mave Avroe- Average. In her that all she used to be. A small town, kind parents, average grades, and some average friends. She was timid, but not shy. The spotlight wasn't her place to be. She knew that. But, things change. After a devastating event, she left. She left her town and told nobody. She couldn't return, that much was obvious. So she ran. She eared a name for herself. "The Plague" they called her. She became an underground fighter. Every win became proof that the devastation was gone. She was no longer weak. She wore a mask in the ring, a symbol of the different person she became in the hot spotlights. She wasn't average anymore. She had a name. She wasnt just in the spotlight. She became it.

So, when L is dragged along to some underground ring reserved for only those who could afford the entertainment, it all lines up. Mave is in the ring and L cand decide if he wants her to knock him out like that or hire her to take other people out. It's a quick fascination, and even his friends can see it.
So, when he begs to come back it's no surprise.
But he won't be watching this time. He's face to face with her in the ring. He had the audacity to ask a bet.
"If I can beat you, you'll take that mask off for me."
She agreed.
