My father died 40 days ago. Today, his best friend put a ring on my finger. Alhaji Musa was 25 when he taught me how to ride a bike. I was 9. Now he's 34. I'm 19. And he says I'm his _Amanah_ - a trust my father left him before he died. "Guard her. Marry her. Don't let the world touch her." That's what Baba made him swear. On the Qur'an. He says he won't touch me until I finish school. He says I can say no. He also says: "I don't lose what Allah trusts me with. Even if you hate me for it." My mum is crying "Alhamdulillah." My aunties are posting my business on WhatsApp. My best friend is typing in all caps: "GIRL THIS IS A CRIME IN 6 STATES." I'm supposed to say yes at Maghrib. But am I Baba's daughter... or Alhaji Musa's Amanah? And is there a difference?

My peace

(she's leaning toward love & clarity) > Everything shifts when she meets *Raqeeb Uthman* - a calm, older business tycoon who doesn't push, doesn't lecture, and doesn't treat her like a child or a trophy. For the first time, Neelam feels seen. And slowly, she realizes peace isn't about running from marriage or rushing into it - it's about choosing herself first, and letting the right person walk beside her, not in front of her. > "My Peace" is a story about family pressure, self-worth, and finding love that feels like breathing, not drowning.
