"If you can't be mine..." Jungkook paused. His voice dropped, quieter, colder, as he picked up the knife. A sinister smile slowly spread across his lips as his eyes locked onto Taehyung....who sat there, breath uneven, chest rising and falling too fast, the air barely reaching his lungs. "...then you have to die," he finished, as though it were nothing more than a simple truth.

Taehyung's breathing grew heavier, shallow, restrained. His hands were bound tightly to the chair, rope biting into his skin, but even with death standing right in front of him, he didn't look away. He didn't beg. He didn't break. His gaze stayed fixed...steady, defiant....staring straight at the man who held his fate so casually.

Jungkook tilted his head slightly, amused. The smile on his face widened, almost fascinated by the lack of fear Taehyung showed. He stepped closer, slow, deliberate, until he was right in front of him. Then he leaned down, placing both hands on the armrests of the chair, caging Taehyung in completely, leaving no space, no escape. His presence alone felt suffocating.

"You have two options,Dove," he murmured, the nickname rolling off his tongue with a softness that didn't match the situation.

Taehyung's eyes hardened at that. The word only fueled his anger, his jaw tightening as he glared back.

Jungkook leaned back slightly, watching him, then raised the knife and pressed it flat against Taehyung's neck. The cold metal kissed his skin, unmoving....but threatening enough to send a sharp shiver down his spine.

"Me... or death," Jungkook said, his lips curling into a slow smirk.

For a moment, everything stilled.

Taehyung's eyes filled with tears....not out of fear, but something deeper, something heavier.......a hope for redemption.One tear slipped down his cheek, silent, unhurried.

His lips parted.

"Death."
