Sometimes, opposites attract. Other times, opposites implode.

Chloe Banks has a ten-step plan. She's worked as an intern at her father's prestigious law practice, and now that she's entering college a year late, she's determined to keep her head down, study hard, and graduate with honors.

Enter campus quarterback, Carter James. Always on the chase, wanting what he can't have, and dead set on making it to the NFL no matter what it takes. He meets the very apprehensive Chloe and becomes persistent on being in her life.

They couldn't be more opposite, but something inescapable draws them together, against both of their better interests. Chloe's incessant need to impress her father clashes with Carter's drive to make her part of his world, creating the kind of explosion that leaves them both wounded.
