Marabel Melgren, Thalia Tauri, and Isabel Ateos have been trained by their parents in all four Quadrants ever since they were 5. Not only did they went to the frontlines at 16, but were given the highest honors a warrior could have. On their 19th birthday they were given orders by the generals to attend riders quadrant officially, as their previous training and challenges were held outside of the quadrant with Lieutences.

Now that they are in the actual quadrant, their challenges was not only dragons, as they have created their own rebellion against their parents, working with Fen Riorrision from the beginning, at the age of 10 they joined Fen Riorrision, and continued the rebellion when the Tyrrish got executed.

Although they knew about the marked ones and their own rebellion, the maskeds, with people from different quadrants and different levels of leadership, bigger than Riorrisons, and definitely better well hidden, they never confronted Xaden about his plans and went separate ways for a certain reason, as Fen Riorrision's idea for the rebellion was only half right. Nobody apart from their mothers knew about a whole other separate universe with different species, the one their mother escaped from, the Faes, Sirens, and Werewolves, are slowly overtaking their world. While trying to continue their own rebellion against Venin they realized that they might need to form an alliance with them to stop the supernatural species from overtaking this world.

With everything going on Riorrison's actions are rising and are close to being found, the moment the leadership finds out about Riorrison and his group, their own would be also detected. The three cannot continue to ignore his group anymore (as if they ever could) Riorrision might be the arrogant asshole that controls shadows and certain pieces, but with Ateos brains and Melgren's fight, Thalia is the one flipping the board around whenever and however she wants.

As their love and hate relationship with the marked
