Nick Jonas was Vey's first. Yes, that kind of first. Not a crush. Not a kiss. Veronica Martin was just the Deleasas' extra sister, the girl always around, always welcome, always somehow in the family pictures. To them, she was just Vey. Katie's best friend. But being close to the Deleasas came with its own kind of side effects. Like spending years orbiting the Jonas family, never quite part of it, but never a stranger either. Kevin, Joe, and Nick were the kind of guys girls built fantasies around: famous, hot, just untouchable enough to feel unreal. To Vey, they were just the guys she saw once or twice a year in Jersey. Close enough to witness their world. Far enough to know she didn't belong in it. Maybe that's why she never let herself think about them that way. Then Nick Jonas happened. It was hot. It was loud. It was Coachella, 2013. One weekend changed everything, turning a guarded girl into someone bold, reckless, and completely undone by a boy she was never supposed to fall for. But real life doesn't follow perfect scripts. And neither do people. Years pass. Lives move on. Hearts break in different ways... until one day, the past comes back knocking. Because some stories don't fade with time. They wait. And some mistakes? They're just too perfect to leave behind.

Lorelai Daisy Slater was a quiet girl. She worked hard for what she had, put a lot of effort into her studies, and was ready for the real world. She worked hard to transfer from a little community college to Briar U. She thought it was gonna be an easy two years, work at Malones, get a scholarship, and get a stable job once she graduates, but the Briar U boys seem to be interested in her. Rory had thought she left it all behind, but when Dean DiLaurentis recognizes her, she knows it's gonna be hard to avoid him. She sneaks around him at Malones, the Hockey rink, when she sneaks in to skate, and even on campus. But how long until the boys succeed and get Rory to finally talk to them?
