- ♡ - But Minho's face is bright. Just watching him with a soft smile. There is no laughter waiting behind it. No cruelty tucked underneath. He looks back down at his lap, sniffling softly. Then he raises his hand between them, holding his pinky out. Small. A little shaky.

"Promise?" He says it like it's something precious.

Minho blinks at it, confused for a few seconds before his face softens. Gently hooking his pinky with the other's, he seals the promise with his thumb like it is precious.

"Promise." He nods.

The small, unconscious smile on the boy's face must be contagious, because Minho smiles too. He'd do this a hundred times if he smiled like that. - ♡ -
