Violet Freeland belongs to the River pack of bear warrior shifters, she is the daughter of a Bear Alpha.
Bear shifter mates are hard to come by, in fact they're incredibly rare. Because of that, bear shifters are often promised off traditionally at the age of 18 to another, to gain alliance of families.
In two weeks time, Violet will be mated in ceremony to Ashton Gray, the beta and brother to the Alpha of the Mountain pack.
In two days time, Alpha Einarr Gray of the Mountain pack will be mated to pack royalty: Daisy Waters of the Grassland pack. As such, Violet is invited to the ceremony as an honored guest since her betrothed is the Alpha's brother.
But fate has another plan in mind in the form of an unexpected mating link and it's not to Violet's betrothed.
