Naomi Reed is living the casual life of a vampire. Her best friend, Cole, changed her, and she hated him for it, but she didn't leave his side, in fear she would get lost in the vampire world. But one day, when Naomi is excited to finally return to school, the Board interfears and takes Cole away to who knows where, while Naomi has to take care of a vampire that just got turned by Cole. 
Together, the two girls find a vampire named Riley while hunting. He bites both of them, and they become Veiled.
     In this different type of vampire story, two girls try to change their fate and run away from being even worse than a vampire. Being a Veiled.
