At long last, Lisa is mildly safe in Puck's world, the Faerie Realm. And after making new acquaintances, and becoming accustomed to the exotic cultures and magic, she begins to lose her heart to this new land. But when war begins to brew, Lisa is not safe in either world. Despite her immense trust for Puck, Puck cannot hide Lisa in his arms forever. And as the Seelie King and Queen become desperate for alliances, danger begins to twist around the struggling kingdom, leaving it open to stubborn Trolls, lying Djinni, and the wicked Unseelie Faeries. And when all seems well, there could be an occurrence that breaks everything.

Meanwhile, Alex, James and Tory come to an end in their search for Lisa.... And they come to the end of the world! And when they learn the truth about the war, and the potential fate of their world, will they accept it, or choose to forget about the whole thing? That might be difficult. Especially since James may have to step into a strange position of leadership....
