Lara Kent is a university student at Ottawa University, living her life normally when a tragic fire destroys her residency building-- and the secrets her family had tried to hard to build.

Her family, the infamous Kents, have lived in Smallville for years. Lara, on the other hand, had spent the past three living in Canada to attend University. When a massive fire puts her in the hospital and forces her to return home with her family, she learns that not only is she an unusally fast healer, but that her weird headaches are actually part of something much bigger. Something she would have never, ever, guessed could be true.
