X-WING: Argonaut

Fawn Astaris had nothing but good intentions when she joined the Rebellion. That didn't change when she passed training with flying colors, and not even when she joined the infamous Blue Squadron. But now, after Scarif, after Yavin, with most of her wingmen dead or missing, a scrapped X-Wing, and a damaged body, she finds it rather hard to have faith in the cause. That won't stop her from flying one last sortie however, protecting the desperate evacuation of her allies as they flee from Imperial wrath. In doing so, she didn't expect to land right in the lap of one Captain Zeyda Laroche, a mysterious Rebel airman with lofty ambitions.

Deep in Imperial territory sits a crucial TIE Fighter factory, just waiting to be destroyed. The Rebels have placed their faith in Captain Laroche, and she is putting together a team. Among the unlucky few to be selected, Fawn and the rest of her new wingmen in Reserve Squadron C must now set aside their differences and rocky pasts in order to come together in the Alliance's time of greatest need.

And if not? At least she'll go out with a bang.
