"I'll uh look out for you for him from now on" he said, he was still practically a stranger to her but she felt as if she could trust him.
"Do you promise?" She asked sniffling and rubbing at her eyes as tears formed.

"Pinky promise?" Daryl looked at her bewildered as she raised her pinky. He sighed with a small quirk of his lip and linked his pinky with hers.
