Chains of Love : The Promise

Meiko is just trying to settle into Norvale.

She moved in Sunday morning, and now she's got one week to get used to her new country before the semester starts at Deakin's University of Advanced Sciences, Norvale's top institute.

Coincidentally, a perfectionist determined to prove her own worth is also attending Deakin's.

Her name is Marchand. Cyrene Voss Marchand.

She's aloof, sharp, and wholly determined to ace every damn class she takes.

But when she meets Meiko's dry, sarcastic self, she doesn't just see a girl trying to live her life.

She sees another version of herself.

And Cyrene's always been a bit of a narcissist.
