Tending to The Flame

A reader x Neteyam au story based off the events that occurred after Avatar: The Way of Water.

The story follows a young Metkayina girl, the eldest daughter of Tonowari and Ronal, Chief and Tsahik of the Metkayina.

Aonung is her older brother whilst Tsireya her younger sister.

She forms a close friendship with Lo'ak out of the Sully's, not paying too much mind to Neteyam before the battle of three brothers rocks.

Neteyam survives the bullet wound from the final battle, although he is badly injured and isn't able to use his legs.

Y/N is assigned to take care of Neteyam, helping him with simple tasks and eventually guiding him to learn to use his legs again.

Their relationship is tender and kind as it flourishes into treading over the lines of what is classified as friends or more...

I don't incorporate any cringe, tacky, or weird dialogue.

I try my best to be faithful to each character in the avatar trilogy and respect their characteristics.

I try my up most best to capture Neteyams personality as he is in avatar the way of water and fire and ash.

I try to write as detailed as possible!

This is a slow burn friends to lovers story!
