In war, you're only allowed to hope for one thing: to die young as late as possible. But Harlowe Granger has much higher aspirations than to be a cog in the machine of war. She's a dreamer, and her hopes extend far beyond what is expected of a child soldier. Unfortunately for her, sometimes your path is skewed by forces not in your control. And sometimes, you learn hard lessons about the people you thought would help you through it. Draco Malfoy thrives on control. He is a perfectionist that breathes life into his need for authority. Some would say he was born for it. So, when his control is ripped from underneath him, he tries to adapt. He becomes quieter. Meaner. Downright hostile. All a front, so no one can see what he has lost. When the two find an unlikely, albeit shaky, alliance built off the need for taking back their life, they begin to question everything. HBP-Post War

(Beatle Fan Fiction) "He sighed painfully and dragged a hand across the side of his greased up hair. I felt such pain of his, just by seeing his eyes, and he spoke again, louder and with more, or less, confidence, "Look, Dewey, I don't care what I have to do. I will dive into the deepest parts of the ocean to save you from whatever is pulling you down there. But you have to let me, you have to want me to save you. Because, I mean, if you want me to, I will,'" Danielle or Dewey Montgomery moved to Liverpool, England with her mother and her brother. She left her life, some of her family, her few friends, for another country. She starts school, suddenly becoming an outcast, and just digging herself into her books, the only thing she has. After figuring she needs to get a job, she goes around, searching for one. She just so happens to run into Elsie Graves who gives her the job of teaching her 17 year old son, Richard, who is far behind for reasons she would eventually find out. Dewey takes the job but doesn't realize how one stupid Liverpudlian will change her outline of life.
