Temporary Bliss

The year is 1969 and Charlotte Baker is in bit of a jiffy. On the night of her boyfriend, Randy's nineteenth birthday, a startled deer leaps in front of the car and she swerves Randy's new convertible into a tree, getting them both into a horrible accident that leaves her dazed and him nearly dead. And he would have been, too, if it weren't for the little girl Charlotte meets on her frantic search for help.
