The night shouldn't have been that bright. When moonlight spills through the trees like silver water during the summer solstice, the forest behind my house becomes a place where stories aren't just stories... They're warnings. I shouldn't have gone in. I shouldn't have crossed the door that only opens once a year. Now, I'm trapped in a realm where trees have faces, lights are alive, and names carry a weight that can crush you. Guided by a dangerous, unreadable stranger whose eyes hold a recognition I can't explain, I must survive a night where the shadows are hungry and the illusions offer everything I've ever wanted, at the cost of my very existence. In a world that has already begun to claim me, I'm discovering that I'm not just lost but I'm something this place has been waiting for.
