The Albatross

Maybe when I agreed to be born into this world, I was promised an amazing group of friends to fill my young-adult years... or maybe I was meant to learn that nothing good ever lasts forever.

Years have passed, and what once felt unbreakable slowly starts to shift. I find myself stuck between uncertainty, old memories, and a friend group that still feels like home but is far from simple.

People change, distance grows, and some bonds quietly become harder to hold onto than I ever expected. Then I realize the hardest part of growing up is realizing people don't stay the same.

But maybe... I was the reason it all started to fall apart.
