The Space Before Impact

After witnessing the success of the Winter Soldier, Hydra took notes from the Red Room and began training the next group of assets to follow in his footsteps. They called it The Academy- a facility where children no one would miss were taken, raised, and weaponized within its walls.

Over time, their numbers dwindled. No one ever left. Missions went wrong. Assets failed to return.

Eventually, only one remained.

Asset Six.

When she is found and extracted by Captain America and Black Widow, little is known about her beyond the fact that her assassination record rivals even the Winter Soldier's. Her identity has been erased from everything except The Academy's files- and even those are incomplete.

There is no intake date. No listed age. No birthdate. No family.

Only a first medical report estimating she was six to eight years old when she was taken. Training evaluations. Mission logs. Medical records.

And one line someone forgot to redact.
