Death or Distance?

For him the answer was always Distance. He chose the dust of battlefield; honour, over the cowardice of running away; shame, carving fear onto his opponent's heart with blood and bravado. He bowed to none except God, feared none except his mother's flying chappal and the soul-crushing terror of losing her. He thinks he's seen worse until that one thing.

Betrayal.

But if you ask her? She chooses Death; of her tormentors.

She has zero hopes from the slow justice of courtrooms. She is her own jury, her own judge, a shadow in the dark forest, a predator fuelled by one purpose- to personally deliver her tormentors to their graves. She doesn't just want justice; she wants the life draining out from their body. She is hunting them silently, and she will not stop until the she is drenched in the red.

Blood.

When a world built on Betrayal meets a heart thirsty for Blood, the wreckage will be absolute. He is fighting to stay alive; she is living to watch them die.
In the end, they may find that some things are meant to be mended- they are meant to bled out.
