All Malachi really wanted was a lover. He loved so hard but the only thing girls wanted was his body. He didn't want that, he wanted his partner to have his mind, his heart, his soul. But no girl wanted him like he would've wanted them, until he and some blonde girl got paired together for a group science project. Really? REALLY?? Freya had wanted to do this damn project by herself but noooo, Mr. Clancy just HAD to pair her with the freaking hockey idiot. The universe just screwed her over so hard. Like really? Malachi Barton? Out of everyone, Clancy picked him?

Credits to @fralachi_lover for the awesome title page which I love so much thanks girly love you 💞 Everyone thinks Malachi has the perfect life. He's popular, charming, talented - the golden boy everyone wants to be around. He smiles at the right moments, says the right things, and hides the shaking in his hands before anyone can notice. Because at home, nothing is perfect. Behind closed doors are screaming matches, slammed doors, and nights that leave Malachi counting breaths just to make it through. The panic attacks, the fear, the exhaustion - he hides all of it from everyone. Everyone except Freya Skye. Freya is known as the quiet girl. The one who keeps her head down, avoids crowded hallways, and never lets anyone get too close. Nobody knows that after losing her parents, she's been living alone with grief too heavy to talk about. She understands silence. She understands fear. And somehow, she understands Malachi before he even says a word. What starts as shared glances and late-night conversations slowly turns into something deeper - something neither of them expected. But as their connection grows stronger, so do the secrets between them. Because loving someone means letting them see the broken parts. And neither of them knows if they're ready for that.
