Since he was small, Sonic, a young hedgehog from the village of Green Hills, dreamed of following the footsteps of his childhood hero, the fabled swordsman D'Artagnan, and becoming a Royal Musketeer. With an unquenchable thirst for thrill and adventure, he and his best friend Tails embark on a journey to the royal city, hoping to join the famous corps.
Things soon go awry, though, upon arrival. After a chance encounter with the disgraced musketeer, Knuckles, the three form an unlikely trio. As Sonic struggles to balance his love of freedom with his newfound duties, fate soon comes a-knocking in the form of Amy Rose, a spy with more than one face. Little by little, the world of Sonic's childhood stories unravels into one of swashbuckling, danger, conspiracy, and... love?
As their foes plot in the shadows, the three are slowly forced to discover what it truly means to be all for one and one for all.
