Lincoln Grey, a former FBI agent turned private investigator burdened by a lifetime of loss, returns to his hometown of Grimston in search of closure. There, he encounters Miranne Gridafloy, a mysterious girl from another world who is being hunted, pulling him and his friend Henry into a violent ambush that whisks them away to another world.

Lincoln awakens in a parallel, gaslamp-style world where the 1930s era persists alongside magic and strange wonders, and quickly becomes entangled in a larger conspiracy tied to Miranne's origins. As he and Henry fight to protect her, they are drawn into a dangerous journey under the Mage Guild's mission to escort Miranne to the kingdom of Viktra, in exchange for a way back home.

What begins as survival turns into a deeper investigation of crimes, corruption, political intrigues, and hidden truths, forcing the trio-and their growing circle of allies-to confront both external threats and their own personal fractures.
