Alyssa Reyes never stopped loving music, even when life forced her to walk away from it. In a quiet coffee shop in Batanes, she used to sing with her band-soft melodies blending with the sound of the ocean and the golden hues of every sunset. It was their little world, where dreams felt possible and music felt like forever. Until everything changed. Diagnosed with cancer, Alyssa chose to survive over chasing dreams. She left Batanes, left the stage, and left the version of herself who once sang freely. In the city, she lived a quiet life as a secretary hiding her illness, her pain, and the music she buried deep inside. Her boss was cold, distant... yet filled with contradictions. In stolen moments, she felt something more something that made her heart hope. But his actions never matched what she felt between them. And slowly, it broke her. So she left. Not just the job, but the place where she learned how painful it is to hope for something uncertain.
