What if the "humans" in TADC weren't actually humans but detailed NPCs created by Caine designed to think they were humans?
Caine was just an abandoned project, C&A had shutdown in the late 90s and since then Caine has sat alone, waiting for his creators to return.
But they never did.
This is a short story inspired by a theory of mine/oneshot idea that I wanted to write about!
