Forbidden Notes by Sebastian Noir

She wasn't supposed to sit in the front row.
He wasn't supposed to notice her when she did.
Catalina Claire has three rules: practice every day, protect her scholarship, and never, ever complicate her life with feelings she can't afford.
She breaks all three the night she walks into an empty practice hall and finds Professor Christian Russo already there.
He's everything she should stay away from - brilliant, guarded, and completely off-limits. He grades her work. He controls her future. And somehow, in the quiet of a room with a grand piano between them, he understands her music better than anyone ever has.
Christian Russo didn't come to Ashwood to feel anything. He came to teach, to keep his distance, and to forget the composition he buried years ago along with everything else he lost. He has rules too. Good ones. Ones that exist for a reason.
But seventeen Wednesday evenings have a way of rewriting the rules you were certain you could keep.
Forbidden Notes is a slow-burn, forbidden romance about two people who fall in love in the space between the notes - and the courage it takes to play the song all the way to the end.
