Wilbur loved his work to keep his city safe, but there was always someone trying to prevent that. Sometimes it was large villains who killed and killed, other times it was a simple thief. Sometimes, it was a shapeshifting villain who liked scarring others and ruining lives. Sometimes it was a villain who helped unlock hidden powers yet was insane enough to fight in a burning, collapsing building. Because that night, Wilbur fought alongside a way-too-young-and-way-too-familiar vigilante and his family against a famous villain with an ability so powerful it seemed fake. The world was never have been ready for Shift in the first place, Shift was the villain who's identity was so secret no one had a single lead to go attempt to catch them. In a forgotten world full of heroes, villains, and vigilantes, a world that had neither a good or bad ending, or maybe no ending at all. Who knows? As he accepts his new life he finds his way home unexpectedly after he saves the Steves' world one last time. Only seconds have passed since his disappearance and has to pretend nothing has changed. To keep the steves safe. Yet adjusting back to a world of a secret world is harder than one may think. Especially if the past constantly speaks to you in your head. With two secret identities will he keep himself safe or will the problems of the Steve world leak into his as he has to become the hero of two different worlds? Void Edd is an omnipotent being who pretty much can make universes if he wants to as well as destroy them. Something happened to him in his world that left him alone and scared. His friends died on him and never returned, leaving him alone. He felt himself break down and when he awoke, he found himself in a void. He was scared at first, then got used to it eventually as he met a strange glowing orb. Curious, he floated over there and found out it was a sentient being that came to give Edd a second chance at happiness. Of course Edd accepted happily thinking he would see his friends once again, but it was short lived when he realized HE would not be able to see them. Edd was given god like powers and angel wings. He created a whole new world and added everything that he and his friends enjoyed. He added his neighbors and everyone else he could think of to make him happy. When the new Earth was perfect, Edd created clones of his best friends and took his own happiness and gave it life. He placed them in a house he made and set up laws and rules the universe would follow. After it was all done, he met everything go into motion as he sat by and watched everything from his perch in the void. This AU has shipping. The main ships are TomEdd and TordMatt.
