Modern ranger diary - Rangers apprentice

Translation of my Rangers apprentice ff to English! Please, excuse any mistakes or incontinencies, this was my first completed story and first attempt of better translation. Some aspects (such as cursive or my authors notes) might be missing and I am deeply sorry, but my lazy ass won't let me do it all properly. Y'all been warned!

She wasn't sure why her mother had done it to her. Maybe because of that C in physics, or maybe just on a whim. But what she did know for certain was that she had absolutely no interest in "socializing with other people," as her mom liked to call it. Now she'd have to endure three weeks at some stupid camp in the middle of the woods, which, judging by the photos, looked more like a military drill.

A creepy-looking camp leader, civilization fifty kilometers away, a single livable cabin without electricity - surprisingly, this doesn't end in a lawsuit against the camp leader, but in a fairly well-spent month. But everything has its catch, and we usually find that out at the end...

To understand the story, it's not necessary to know the original Ranger's Apprentice series, because the main character knows just as little about rangers as you do. Still, there are occasional references to the original series in the text, though they are usually explained in the comments.
