Irelynn Maeve Rogen is anything if not impulsive.

She grew up in unfamilar territory, literally, and somehow ended up back where she came from... but not really. After fighting for years to just get by, she thought she found her forever. Until that too was ripped from her, all an intended lie for someone else to gain things she never wanted in the first place.

Running from the truth, from her own little white lies, and unable to ever feel what its like to have a calm life, she returns to the place where it all started breaking to begin with, Silverwood Academy.

The place where all the best, brightest, and strongest in the supernatual world go to become leaders. To learn what its like to control whats inside, and how to utilize it to win wars, defend their people, and most of all how to keep themselves safe.

Now its turned into a battlefield of trials. A place where the weakest go to defend the veil between them and the humans, pawns who must be ready to die, and where the strongest turn into the next Elite. Who will make, enforce, and punish those who don't fall into line.

They don't know what she's running from, they don't even know what she's capable of.. and there are four men chasing her who desperately want to know. They want to help, and she won't let them.

But nothing will stop her, or them for what is to come. Will she let them help or will she fail everyone she loves in an effort to die for a cause only she knows the truth about?
