Ingrid Nelson was your typical high school senior. Except for the fact she thinks her school’s spirit rock has super powers. For her entire high school career everyone thought she was crazy for her beliefs concerning the rock. In their eyes it was just a rock, in Ingrid’s the rock means something. She just couldn’t put her finger on it. One night she receives an ominous text message telling her to meet outside the school and all her questions would be answered. Determined for answers Ingrid drives to North Wilkes High School for but receives something else entirely. Ingrid suddenly finds herself in Viking Country, containing guess what? Vikings, I know it’s as crazy as it seems. From there she meet a handsome blond viking named Asmond and he leads her to some council who gives her the answers she so desperately craves. Turns out that two thousand years ago a tribe of vikings immigrated inland to escape the disease of the water. Soon after four factions formed, many of them disagreed on how to live on land. The four tribes are called, Eagle, Scorpion, BlackHawk, and Viking Country. Viking Country was where the original tribe settled so were superior to the other vikings in every sense. A sorcerer placed a spell on the rock, so a viking outside of their tribal blood could not sense the power the rock possesses. And years later they placed it outside of North Wilkes High School, because who would look for an all powerful spirit rock outside a high school? Oh and also Ingrid finds out that the council leader Vidar had an affair with Ingrid’s mother to make her and that is how she is able to sense the rock’s power. Ingrid wishes to go home after that, in shock from the information she received all at once and was sent home by Asmond. Who stands in the goal post every Friday night at the football games to give the boys good luck.
