Briar Matcher never thought her life would become part of something as twisted as the Ghostface killings-until the calls start.

What she doesn't know is that behind the mask, there isn't just one killer.

There are two.

Her brother Stu, is one of them.

But Stu isn't the one pulling all the strings. He's caught in something far more unstable-partnered with Billy, a ruthless and calculating second killer who sees Briar as more than just a target. To Billy, she's an obsession waiting to happen... someone he believes he can pull into his world of chaos.

Stu, however, is torn.

As the killings escalate and Billy's fixation on Briar grows more intense, Stu begins to push back in secret. He tries to steer Billy away from her-creating distractions, redirecting plans, even sabotaging attacks when he can. Not out of innocence... but out of something more complicated.

Not in a simple, clean way-but in a obsessive, desperate way that clashes violently with everything he's become. Every move Stu makes puts him at risk of being exposed, but he can't stop himself from trying to keep Briar out of Billy's reach.

Briar, meanwhile, starts noticing inconsistencies in the pattern of the attacks-moments where she should have been caught, but wasn't. Clues that feel like someone is both hunting her... and quietly saving her.

As the truth edges closer to the surface, Briar is forced into a dangerous question:
