He remembers the light. He remembers the words "Plus Ultra." But more than that, he remembers the silence that followed. Izuku Midoriya was never meant to be sold. When the Hero Public Safety Commission secretly transferred him to the shadowy "Big Bodies Initiative" for Experimentation, they ensured a perfect cover-up. By the time Class 1-A noticed the empty seat, the trail was years cold. But Izuku didn't know that. He waited for a rescue that never came. While his flexible bones were cracked and replaced with tubing, while his skin was stripped and substituted with purple velvet, and while he was force-fed the red lavender gas, he waited. He believed that if he was patient, they would find him. They never did. His patience turned to despair, and his despair turned to a new, terrible faith. Now, he is no longer Deku. He is CatNap, the loyal guardian of Playcare and the devoted servant of the Prototype-You. When the now Pro-Heroes of Class 1-A are sent to investigate the abandoned factory, they expect ghosts and dust. Instead, they find a nightmare of their own making. Izuku has been waiting to put them all to sleep. And this time, he won't wake them. "Why do you look so horrified? I waited for you. For years. The Prototype didn't. The Prototype saved me from your world of light."
