Knocks
~~ Lainey O'Neil didn't want to move, especially after the death of her father. All that was familiar was being chipped away like the paint of what was supposed to be her new home. Nothing about the house was like her old one in Boston and she could tell just by the looks of it, it wasn't hers and she knew it would never be. It was already theirs. ~~ © retropolisConcluida
Wolfhowl Mountain
The summer before her senior year of high school, 17 year old Rose Delaney's divorcee mother moves the family from big city Texas to small-town Maine, claiming that she and her 5 year old brother Liam need a fresh start. Formerly popular and admired in Texas, Rose finds that she's not only unpopular at her new school in Port Braseham, but downright hated. As she tries to fit in to her new surroundings and battles the bullying of Prom Queen nemesis Mary Donovan, Rose begins to realize that her unpopularity might have something to do with Wolfhowl Manor, the spooky run-down house Mrs. Delaney got on the cheap. She begins to notice strange happenings and mysterious voices in the night. As she begins to investigate, with handsome caretaker Beckan O'Dwyre, Rose realizes that she and her family might just be in real danger - because all of the previous owners have died in the house. Will she be able to solve the mysterious history of her house and save her family before it is too late? This is only a preview. For the full manuscript, find me on Amazon.Concluida
Dear Adelaide,
On the night of her eighteenth birthday, Adelaide Cottlethorne slipped in the tub. At least that's what they tell her replacement. Cottlethorn Manor is a house where time stands still. Where memories are never lost. And days are never broken. The family that resides there is perfect. Doll-faced. Porcelain. Well, almost. With anticipations, they await their new daughter dearest. The one to wear the locket. The girl to fill the shoes. When Olivia arrives at their doorstep, flustered from the eyes in the leaves, with a suitcase in hand, she wants nothing more than a blank slate and a chance to gain a last name. Upon meeting the family that waits behind closed doors, she swiftly takes on the role of the Cottlethorne's perfect new daughter. There's just one rule: "No Mention of the Past". But when Olivia begins recalling someone else's memories, that are somehow replacing her own, strange melodies, footsteps in the ceiling, and golden visions of blood-filled tubs, she also begins to suspect that nothing at the manor is quite as "perfect" as it seems. The family will not speak a word of Adelaide's death. In fact, no one seems able to recall it happening in the first place. They instead, all seem focused on what they refer to as "the most important day of all". Olivia's eighteenth birthday is coming up soon. And she is beginning to forget her own name.Concluida![Beware [COMPLETED]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/177796888-256-k732894.jpg)

Loved the writing style. Made me feel like I was present inside the book, going through each and everything the characters went through. The pain, the obstacles, the horror, the questionings - everything!" ~~@alienocorn __________________________________________________________________________________ Not my greatest work so think twice before reading it until I edit.Concluida
What Keeps Our Hearts Beating
When 16-year-old Lacey Ainsbrough is forced to wait for a heart donor, her father becomes the patron of an experimental study for children and teenagers in her family's summer manor house. But things have changed since Lacey visited the Ainsbrough manor house when she was a kid. There are the large black gates that surround the perimeter, high surveillance cameras and the strange rules enlisted by the head doctor of the experiment, Dr. Leif Weber. And as Lacey soon discovers, the gates and the high security are not to keep them safe, but to keep one dangerous student from ever leaving....Brasen. When Lacey unexpectly meets Brasen in her mother's hidden library, she unveils the secret that is imprisoning the mysterious and handsome teenage boy in the left wing of the house. She formulates a plan to help Brasen escape during the Halloween dance, but she will need to enlist the help of the other students, including Dr. Weber's new protégé, Raiph, who is her date for the dance and also Brasen's former best friend and current enemy. Despite Lacey's growing feelings for Brasen, his blood may be the only thing to keep her and her fellow students alive. Can she sacrifice her own life to save the man she may truly love? This novel is a modern gothic romance, reminiscent of Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre, and will take you into the darkness of the Ainsbrough Manor House and into the depths of the heart and soul.Concluida
